1 Wednesday. Very fine day no frost last night Marion Murdy and I were at the entertainment last night. It does not speak very highly for the Temperance people of the village there were so few of them present
2 When I was ready to go to the W. meeting which is held at Mrs Allen Grants, I got a post card from Bird to meet her at Summerstown. I went to the meeting for an hour, And Murdy was to meet Bird but was too late
3 Birdie went to the Summerstown S for Hattie. she & C Fraser came here. Sold at Willies 5 1/2 lbs butter 1.20 Bot 1 pair B. cashmere hose. 30. 1 pair glove 30. 1 gall coal oil 18. Murdy went to Toronto 60
4 Killed two. he chickens. Hattie went to Cornwall tonight.
5 Fine day. good congregation. We had people pressing the hay on Whitfords place last week.
6 The pressers went to the Branch Saturday I had Harriet 3 hours washing windows put up out sash 15
7 Sent a letter to Jimie
8 Sent a letter to J.C Brown Moorhouse paid 2
9 Had a letter from Randy and sent him the $2500 that Moorhouse paid
10 Friday made a large washing.
11 Was busy all day. Pa went to Lancaster and got his clothes making 2 trimming = 6.25 not paid. May Rampant 6.25
12 Fine day not many in church
13 Have tooth ache
14 Sold 3 lbs. butter at McCrimmons
