hoeing in afternoon. We have Andrew July Carpenter & Will Morrow hoeing today. Agnes Polic & Joe & Byron Dorland were talking & laughing so I went over to to road & hid to hear what was going on but found nothing. Annie & Sarah went to Prayer meeting to daynight. George Williams over after grist. We Expected Ruth down to day but did not come.

Wednesday 18th July. 83. Big Maria, Annie, Sarah, Ida & I picked a crate of berries between us & we are to have the money from it. Jennie went down to McCauleys for her dress she came through our place & showed it to us. it was
