October 1893

22 Very fine day calm and bright. a large congregation Bella McGregor buried this afternoon. 75 carriages. left the house Collection in church for mifsions
23 Another fine day. Jimie left for Florida Pa is every day working out at Whitfords
24 Some rain today Pa finished the wire fence on the S. E of Whitfords place.
25 Moorhouse has a sale today Murdy went with Fars note. Took up the roots. Looks like snow. Sandy Hay called and paid $1.06 And got his note. I sent the money to the Bank.
26 Raw and cold. Uncle Murdy was crofsing the R.R. and his buggy was struck by the cars. he was not hurt (yesterday)
27 Some rain Don Roy's paid $2.50 for calf
28 Rain all night. Murdy went to N. Lancaster Bot 1 peck onions 25 cts
29 Not many in church. A good day
30 Fine day. John Mc D. L.B. (Nelly) was buried today in St Mary's
On the 21st I sold 6 1/2 lbs butter to McCrimmon and got 1 gall coal oil. 1893 Ran went to Kingston on the 2d of Oct. Pa gave him 97 dollars
