JULY, MONDAY, 9. 1866.
Sundy morning rained verry weighty fair to day & colder we began to plough our summer fallo at John Elmslies place too the reper to Galt to get repaired

Warm ploughing I was scarifing potatoes

Drie & hot cutting thistles in fore noon was at Flethers raising in the after noon
Very warm I started to hoe turnips to day thunder & some rain in the evinging
Very warm thunder & rain ploughing & howing turnips
