a bitter cold day, Pas and Elder Parton went visiting. Mrs. Biggins came to dinner & {illegible} Murray & wife. Martha, Emily, and Willliam

Tuesday, 4 Weather {moderate?} a lovely moonlight evening. feel tired tonight found my quilt. Ms. McDermont to dinner. {Newton?} not well

Wednesday, 5 a beautiful day we quilted a {worsted?} quilt today.
