January, 1925.

5 Monday. Fair day. Ella did her washing. Walter went to Alma this am.

6 Tuesday. Cloudy and raw. Everything is covered with hoarfrost. Ezra Maurer was here for dinner. Noah, Earl and Charlie Miller visited us tonight. Other callers - Joe Hall, Henry {Atkiuson?}, Wm. Stewart and Jack {Hosking?}. Walter hitched up Grace today for the first time.

7 Wednesday. Cloudy & raw. Walter & Elmo went to a sale above Drayton and Ella spent the afternoon with Mrs. King. Walter & Ella were there for tea. Dick & Cornelius went to Elmira tonight to skate.

8 Thursday. Cold & raw. Stormy. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira today shipped some hides and got chop. Edith and Irene Spies spent the afternoon with Ella. Callers were - Geo. Noonaw and Wilkie Campbell.
