13 Friday. Cold and raw. Heavy snowfall this afternoon. We killed a pig for ourselves today. Oscar Schierholtz got two sows from Walter

14 Saturday Cold. Snowflurries Walter took a load of chopping to Floradale this morning and went to Karu's sale this p.m. McGeunis Bros. from the 12th of Peel bought two sows from Walter. Noah and Charlie Miller visited us tonight.

15 Sunday. Everything is covered with ice. Clear and cold day Walter & Vernon went to S.S. and church this a.m. and Walter went to Y.P.A. with Lincoln tonight.

16 Monday. Fine day. Walter took chopping to Louis Miller's this a.m. and to Floradale this p.m. We got the sad news today that Mrs. Allew {luyder?} McBrider Mich died last night and Ella's heart is heavy as lead {illegible} death hes caused a void in her life that can never be filled. No school as Miss Young is ill. Vernon was coasting at Hoffer's this p.m.
