April, 1925.

16 Thursday. Cold and windy Gramdpa brought Ella and Vernon to St. Jacobs this morning and they took the bus to Elmira. They had some work done by Dr. Hillis and had their dinner at Art. Kliuck's. Ben Miller died today at about 5.30 p.m.

17 Friday. Fine day. The men were seeding. Ella helped at Earl Miller's this afternoon.

18 Saturday. Beautiful day. Walter got some seed grain at Edler's this morning and was cleaning stables this p.m. Aubrey was cultivating Vernon & Ella dug the two small flower beds

19 Sunday. Cold. Rain snow & sleet. Miserable wet day. Vernon & Walter went to Sunday school this morning Ella helped all day at Earl Miller's Ben Miller was buried today and there was a large crowd at the funeral.

Ella saw a bee yesterday Apr. 18.
