July, 1925.

13 Monday. Lovely day. Ella did her washing. Walter & Vernon took some pigs to Elmira Monthly Fair and sold some of them. Aubrey was hoeing corn. We went to Henderson's tonight.

14 Tuesday. Warm day. The men were hoeing corn. Annie Snider visited Ella this afternoon.

15 Wednesday. Sultry. The men finished hoeing the corn this morning and Aubrey was scuffling turnips and potatoes this p.m. Walter, Ella and Vernon went to Salonie's funeral this afternoon. We found out today that Vernon was successful in passing his Entrance Exams.

16 Thursday. Fine day. Walter shipped hogs this morning and cut some grain for hay when he got home Rev. E.J. Beau called this afternoon and these people tonight - Leon, Gordon and Eldow Wagner, Chas. Bergmau and Jno. Witzel.
