August, 1925.

23 Sunday. Fine and hot. We went to Woolwich church & S.School this p.m. Grandpa Krauter's called here this morning. Our company for tea - Mr. & Mrs. Harold Howden, Mr. & Mrs. Augus Weber, Mr. & Mrs. Norman Snyder, Harvey & Lorne Reist. Harry Kliuch's barn and driving shed burnt down tonight.

24 Monday. Hot day. The men brough in 7 loads of grain today.

25 Tuesday. Very hot day. The men finished harvesting today & brought in 8 loads. Mrs. George Snider spent the afternoon with Ella. Walter & Ella went down to Art. Kliuck's tonight to meet their cousins. Anhyline Meyer of Evanston, Illinois and Marguerite Meyer of McPherson, Kansas.

26 Wednesday. Turned cool today Vernon raked and the men cut the peas Ella's callers - Myrette & Eva Snider, Irene and Edith Spies. We had an ice cream party at Henry Schmidts tonight
