31 Monday. Fine day. The three men were plowing. Ella did her washing Our visitors tonight were - Jno. Stauge Norman Kiug & Mr. & Mrs. Earl Miller

1 Tuesday. Lovely day. Walter and Vernon went to Elmira with Noah Miller this morning. Vernon started to High School today and is boarding at Kiugs. The men finished plowing the wheat ground.

2 Wednesday. Fine day. Walter sowed some wheat today. Aubrey was harrowing. Little shower tonight.

3 Thursday. Cloudy. Ella went to Elmira with Walter and they had their dinner at Kiug's. Aubrey was cultivating and plowing. Walter sowed some more wheat this afternoon.

On the 27th of August, Norman Snider got crushed between his car and a stone wall and had his leg broken.
