November, 1925.

17 Tuesday. Cold and windy. Ella did her washing & ironing. Aubrey took some pigs up to Alex Boroboy's went to Drayton and had his dinner there The new plowed for awhile this afternoon Abe Horst called on them after tea. Eva Snider was operated on for appendicitis this afternoon.

18 Wednesday. Fair and somewhat milder. The men were trimming turnips this forenoon and Walter took a load to Elmira this p.m at 20 & a {illegible} Aubrey plowed this p.m.

19 Thursday. Dreary and mild. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira this morning Norman Kiug's had their sale today and Ella went up with Elmo Kiug's this morning and helped in the house. Walter & Ella were both there for tea.

20 Friday. Cloudy. The men helped Grandpa Maurer's take in turnips today. Ella cleaned the parlor & dining room. Ella's callers - Edith & Irene spies & Laura Miller
