December, 1925.
1 Tuesday. Fine mild day. The men were trimming turnips this chopping morning and Aubrey took a load ^of turnips to Elmira this p.m. Sam Spies was here for dinner and Walter went to Alex. Borovoy's sale near Parker with him
2 Wednesday. Fair. Raw east wind Walter ent to Borovoy's with Sim. Weaver this morning and brought home the cow he bought yesterday. Aubrey took a load of turnips to Elmira. Ella made the sauerkraut today and baked her Christmas cake yesterday.
Married - On Dec. 2 at Heidelberg. Miss Mabel Shauer to William Vogel.
3 Thursday. Fine mild day. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira today and killed and skinned a horse this afternoon. Walter went to a Finance Meeting at the church tonight. Callers - Otto Miller, W. Carter, Reddy Corbett and Irene Spies
