Rosmead Diary

1914 Paid

Monday

Fine sunny day cool. We spread fine loads manure from yard pig peas and sheep house on J. L. spear crop land with spread A.M. PM we spread another load and planted six more rows potatoes 3 and about one third of a row from J. L. were David's Warriors rest common Dr McFadgeon Came up after dinner opened eyes of Mauds colt they being stuck together then altovid Dan colt and left it standing while doing it. Bob Lindale down at night got some strawberry plants

2 Tuesday

Very cool last night, some say a slight frost. & this drove down in morning took cream to Russells also 1.95 lbs Potatoes to Ellis @ $1.05

345 per bag $2.27 got shorts $1.40 chicken feed $1.50 227 290

paid balance on groceries got May 26th 55. Willie 55 proud I L. AM and I find home around now land no be supplied some in new overhard day flower bed etc I wed Bowley over PM he and Willie clipped 5 sheck I wed took sick and went home. I powed and harrowed at J. L. P.M. near Fordsforce. We drove up to see cattle at Allans come home by Gass' and got lend of his shears.

3 Wednesday

Sunny and cloudy rained a few drops at 79890 night. I went to Aboyne for beef in morning 1446 14 145 41 576 17 77 32
