Sat June 28_ Fine day, Uncle at a raising down the 2nd Mrs Dean and Major, also Ma, and Lizzie here.

Sun June 29_ Rained heavily all morning, did not go to Church, In the evening. Uncle, Aunt Mattie and I went, fine evening.

Mon June 30th_ Raining heavily most of the day, at home.

Tue July 1_ "Dominion Day" Fine day, Uncle, Aunt Mattie, and I went up to Maple Pic-nic, the girls here picking peas in evening.

Wed July 2_ Fine and quiet warm. Aunt Kate also, Katie and Irene Chapman here. We went up to call at Mary's in the afternoon

Thur July 3_ Rained heavily last night, fine today_ Aunties went to W. A. Meeting at John Cooks, Aunt still here, they brought little Alice home.

Fri July 4_ Fine but warmer, Mr and Mrs Gibson called. Aunt went home, also little Alice

Sat July x5_ Extremely warm, and very heavy thunder and lightning.

Transcription Tips

  • Note: If a line on one page appears to carry over on the same line on the next page, please check the next page and (if applicable) transcribe both pages together as if they are one page. Type your unified transcription under the first of the two pages.
