Thur July 31st_ Fine but warm, men started harvest but broke the machine in the afternoon. Frankie Morse came out on the noon car.

Fri Aug 1st._ Fine after a heavy rain last night. Aunt N. and Uncle called on Mrs {Crops?}. Aunt Nellie, Frankie and I out picking berries. F. and I at Pa's in the evening.

Sat Aug 2_ Fine but warm, Lizzie here for tea and Annie in the evening. Uncle broke machine

Sun Aug 3._ Fine but threatening rain. We were all at Pa's for to spend the day.

Mon Aug 4_ Fine day. "Civic Holiday" Mary and the children also Ma here.

Tue Aug 5_ Rained in the afternoon. Frankie and I over at Ma's for tea.

Wed Aug 6_ Fine day. The girls also Frankie and I up at Mary's for tea and then came down to Prayer Meeting.

Thur Aug 7_ Frankie went home in the morning We were at home.

Fri Aug 8_ Fine day but rained last night. Uncle and I out at Thornhill in the evening

Transcription Tips

  • Note: If a line on one page appears to carry over on the same line on the next page, please check the next page and (if applicable) transcribe both pages together as if they are one page. Type your unified transcription under the first of the two pages.
