Year 1903

Thur Jan 1_ New Years Day Fathers family also Willie here for the day. Mr and Mrs Gibson. Sr called. fine and very mild.

Fri Jan 2_ Fine untill it rained. Mr.[writing underneath smudged} Bennett here.

Sat Jan 3_ Rained last night and took the snow off. Very mild and icy. Mr Kirby and Mr High called.

Sun Jan 4_ Fine day, a little ploppy. Uncle and Aunties at morning Church, Aunt Mattie and I at Fisherville.

Mon Jan 5_ Election day. Mr and the Mrs Gbsons here for tea. Snowing a little. Cutters out again.

Tue Jan 6_ Fine day. Uncle in Toronto; Lizzie called.

Wed Jan 7_ Snowing a little all day. We went up to Mrs Charlie Keffers for tea.

Thur Jan 8_ Very cold, Aunties at W.A. Sleighing fairly good.

Fri Jan 9_. Cold and a little stormy. night of Mr. Sniders Party.

Sat Jan 10_ Fine and moderately cold. Lizzie here for tea.

Sun Jan 11_ Snowing lightly.. Uncle and {large ink blot over first two letters}nt Mattie at morning Church. Mr and Mrs. F. Farr here.

Mon Jan 12_ Storming all day our lane pretty badly snowed in. I went to Mr Whites Golden Wedding.
