Fri July 3. Rained heavily in mon then clear. Aunt M & I at {Borldst?}. David and wife here for tea.

Sat Ju 4. FIne and quit cold. Aunt Mattie & I in Toronto. Had our first green peas.

Sun Ju 5. Aunt Nellie, Uncle & I at church. Mrs Bales also T. Farris here.

Mon July 6. Mey started haying. Fine day, very warm, Aunt Nellie went out to Willies.

Tue July 7. Fine & extremely hot, the girls here picking peas in eve. Aunt Nellie came here.

Wed July 8. Fine day very hpt, Lizzie C. and A. Mason here at Prayer M.

Thur July 9. Fine but still hotter. Aunt N. Picking berries at Breakeys.

Fri July 10. Fine & moderately warm. I was at Mr Teasdale for tea.

Sat July 11. Fine & moderately warm, came a slight shower in eve.

Sun July 12. Fine and warm, went to morning church. I went to Fisherville. I went to Pa's in the evening. Aunt M & Uncle at Willies.

Mon Ju 13. Fine and very, very cool. I went picking berries to Pa's.

Tue Ju 14. Fine & cool, Aunt Mattie and I went to Mt Pleasant.

Wed Jul 15. Fine day & very cool, picking berrys. I went to Prayer M. Aunties went for a drive in evening.

Transcription Tips

  • Follow the example of transcribing provided in the first few PDF files of this diary.

  • Note: If a line on one page appears to carry over on the same line on the next page, please check the next page and (if applicable) transcribe both pages together as if they are one page. Type your unified transcription under the first of the two pages.
