Fine bright and cool. the new man Charles Waddie came they hauled hay in the afternoon.

Fine day warm in the afternoon. David Smellie here. Frank and Clara Teasdale here in the evening to play Croquet.

Rained heavily in the morning then cleared. the men went home. Uncle took Alice for a drive in the evening. Aunt Mattie called to see Charlie who has a swollen face from tooth-ache.

Fine and very cool. Uncle and Margaret went to evening church. Aunt Mattie and i at Fisherville I wore my new dress.

Fine and cool. Dr Campbell here helping them with the hay. Annie Cooper here for tea. Margaret and Alice left Aunt Nellie got her new waist home. G.T.R. Strike.

Fine day our people finished hay all but rakings

Fine and moderately warm, I went picking berries. {'Picked cherries' written in gap above} Aunt Nellie picking yesterday at Mr Smellies bush. got Binder out started wheat

Rained in the evening. Aunt Mattie and I at Mrs Gibsons to a little tea. through the night we had a terrific storm. got B. Currants
