December MONDAY, 15
Brock choring. We picked 19 geese. Terrible stormy cold day. Roy here for gander and {misspelling of ask?} to trade a goose. Dan died to-night 12 yrs old.
TUESDAY, 16
Choring and picked 7 more geese and dry picked 9 rock roosters in afternoon. Quite stormy at times but not so cold.
WEDNESDAY, 17
Da done chores. Brock & I to town in morning to send geese to Griffens and Hunters. Brock to Arthur in afternoon with 15 geese and 8 chickens. Got 33 {cent sign?} per lb. Fine but very sharp.
