Tuesday Mar 17 / 08 fair We went did Chores and I trimmed rams ready to ship to H.L. Trolinger Pulaski. Virginia, sent them off in Afternoon. express Duty Entry = $18.50 c N.P. got Mail and Customs parcel for Mother 13c gave Joe 10c .10 .13

Wensday 18th fair & Dull E.W. We Chored in morning amd got a load of Straw from Whitelaws in afternoon J. Henderson had E.P. Mayflower bred her to E.P. Ringleader 3rd
Thursday 19th fine I hauled a load of straw From Whitelaws in Morning Pd him for Two loads $800 then went to Telephone and Will wants me to go up to help him settle up with his Creditors I got up there about 9 P.M. and met Will and then went to a Meeting of Creditors. there was quite a warm time Mr Halstead was quite angrey
Friday 20th fine Will & I went out to Meeting of Creditors in Morning and they agreed to accept 60% on all their Claims and I have agreed to loan Pay the required amount to Make this up. viz $66000 and there has been some other accounts come in and brings it up to $73900. And We went home and Will started to prepare to move todaymorrow. I went to meet Mr Holborn to settle about renting. I telephoned him & he has agreed to rent at $25000 a Year in Advance. & is coming tomorrow. Telephone 35c {?}
