17th Sept 1897 Ember Day E Wind very fine Put 2 Loads of Marsh hay on the Stable Loft 1 Load of Marsh hay on the Wheat in the bArn Broke the Tonge of the Waggon Tied the Ram Genie Fishing set a Line Birds and crows at the apples and corn

17th Ember Day Fine Working at the Pole of the Waggon Windy cool

18th Fine NorWest Wind Mr Genie went of Gave him a Pair of oars got a Bag from him had a Lot of Fish this time at a small Stack East of all 40 coils Burnt some Brush cut cornstalks for the Pigs

22nd Fine This is the First Day of Fall St Mathews Day Fixing the Irons in the Bun Livinia and Stanley to Dundee 2 cakes of Tallow Sent for Dr Williams Pink Pills EW Leander Went to Summerstown took Randolphs Boat Sun crofsing the Line Equinoxial Gales Bought 4 1/2 lb of Tea 5 Tubs 3 Pair of Boots 2 of Cotton outing Flannetts sold 9 lb of Tallow Pink Pills 50 cents Mrs Allen Munroe Departed on the 22nd
