23rd Sept 1897 E Wind very Fine Lucias here for Butter and Potatoes 40 cents Lewis Son-Law for Butter 35 Gathered 3 Pecks of Butternuts Put some stuff on the Wharf

24th Fine Lucias for Butter and sugar cutting the cornstalks at the shanty cows got into it To Day Pulling Potato tops

25th Fine cutting cornstalks on the Hill Below the Garden Windy West put some corn in the storehouse Gordon and Fernandez came to night

26th Fine Gordon and Leander crofsed Thunder Rained

27th Windy Fernandez went to Lancaster Lucias for Butter and Potatoes 35 at Potatoes Put 18 Bushels into Day Gordon came and Fernandez went with him to Work 18 or 20 Bushels to Day

28th Sept 1897 Fine at the Potatoes got 4 sturgeon 18 Bushels in to Day Digging some in the cellar Took corn into Husk to night

29th St Michael a very Fine Day cutting cornstalks Taking up corn to the storehouse Husking some to night Stanley made some traces of corn Livinia and Ionia went to pay For the clock 50 cents Lewis here for Butter Leander crofsed to Summerstown

30th Last Day of the Month and it was a very Fine September taking up Potatoes Boiling Potatoes for the Pigs

1st of October Ionia's B Day 1883 Fine day Mr Genie came at Potatoes

2nd Fine Taking up Potatoes 109 Bushels in the cellar now

3rd Fine Randolph and Renshaw here Fernandez went to Lancaster took his axe and saw Gordon was at the Malone Fiar Shot 2 Ducks
