2nd a Fortunate Day Windy Went Down to the Kit Kit for EEls got 1 Ice cracking Uncle Bill and Johnnie came for the Mare First crofsing with a Horse From the south side sent a Table Linen cloth to Annie cold Freezing Shod the Mare heard Duncan Cameron Departed in the Fort

3rd Allen's Birth Day Unfortunate Day 1853 very Fine Day Leander & Fernandez Went to Lancaster Gave Them a 10 Dollar checque to get cashed Ed Renshaw hear Sent a Parcel to Adeline Setting Fire to Parts of the Marsh that would Burn cashed the cheque 1 Dollar American 5 Dollars Toronto 4 Dollars Dominion and 15 cents Silver Got Shoes on the Horses and Nails got me a Pair of Felts 1 Dollar got an 8 Dollar Suit {torn away} E Wind Rained some Put {torn away} Fernandez went to Lis{torn away} Hand sleigh together Ra{torn away} Bottle of Mustard {bottom of page torn away}
