Wed Aug 16th cloudy thunder Showers this after noon was mowing oats in the fore Duncan & I. afternoon not doing much John plowing
Thu Aug 17th cloudy in the forenoon clear after noon and cool high wind form the North and Duncan and I finished cutting oats North of the house John was plowing
Fri Aug 18th clean and pleasant was working at the oats Duncan and I. John plowing
Sat Aug 19th clear and warm, finished cutting oats John finished plowing the field west of the hose house.
Sun Aug 20th clear and hot
Mon Aug 21st clear part of the day and very hot. binding oats the rest of the day
Tue Aug 22ond clear part of the day and very close and hot. finished binding oats. this John. Duncan and the girls went to Florence
Wed Aug 23rd cloudy Some rain the morning I was Setting up oats. the boys drawing hay that was cut out of the fence corners. drawing oats this after noon. I was turning the wee weeds that Duncan and I cutt

Thu Aug 24th clear and pleasant. John & I was drawing and Stacking oats Duncan cutting peas or rather weeds as there is more weeds than peas
Fri Aug 25th clear and hot. finished drawing in oats. Duncan was pulling peas part of the day and part of the time was helping me on the sta stack
Sat Aug 26th clear part of the day and warm I went to the Blacksmiths with a plow point to get Sharpend, didnt get home till noon in the after noon went to Florence about the School affairs. the boys pulling peas this fore noon after noon Duncan went home, John was plowing
Sun Aug 27 cloudy Some rain
Mon Aug 28th clear and warm. I was pulling peas. John plowing Duncan away
Tue Aug 29th clear and warm I was pulling peas. John plowing. Duncan helping Charles McIntosh thrah
Wed August 30th clear and warm. I and Duncan finished cutting peas at noon. John plowing this fore noon after noon the boys drawing peas
Thu Aug 31st clear part of the day and hot. I was cleaning the creek ditch Duncan helping William Saw thrash John plowing
