Thu Fri Apr 5th cloudy and rain most of the day not doing much any thing this fore noon. after noon was triming the apple trees
Fri Apr 6th cloudy and cool, was triming apple trees the ice started in the river to day for the first time this season
Sat Apr 7th cloudy and Soft Some Snow lat night and to day. not doing much to day
Sun Apr 8th clear and warm a pleasant day
Mon Apr 9th clear a fine day I was at the blacksmith's this fore noon after noon was triming bushes in the garden
Tue Apr 10th clear and warm a very fine day I was working on the under ground drain Anne & John took a grist to Dresden and got ground
Wed Apr 11th cloudy fore part of the day, high wind and cold. I was working at the ditch, John Started plow this after noon
Thu Apr 12th clear part of the day and pleasant. I was working at the ditch John was plowing
Fri Apr 13th clear part of the day and cool. pretty high wind from the East. John was plowing. I was ditching
Sat Apr 14th clear and quite hot the themoiter at 84 deg. I was working at the ditch. John was plowing

Mon Apr 16th clear and pleasant. I was ditching John plowing. Duncan and Sarah Bolton was hear to day
Tue Apr 17th clear and pleasant a very fine day John was plowing. I was ditching. Sold a white Bull calf Charley Grant to H H Scarlett to day.
Wed Apr 18th clear and pleasant. I finished the ditch to day. John was plowing. I Saw Some barn Martins to day.
Thu Apr 19th I was fixing up fence John was plowing
Fri Apr 20th clear part of the day and cool. I was takeing part of the fence down between me and William Saw. am going to repair it over. John was plowing most of the day he took Tory up to the Dr this fore noon & a tooth drawn
Sat Apr 21th clear part of the day and pleasant John was plowing. I was laying up fence on the line between me and William Saw
Sun Apr 22th cloudy and cold. Some Snow
Mon Apr 23th cloudy high wind from the North and quite cold. John finished plowing the field Across the road. I was fix laying up fence
