{page one} Camden Gore May 1883

Wed May 23rd clear was letting water of the corn ground of the barley this fore noon after noon went up to Florence with B.Y. Snarey.
Thu May 24th clear most of the day and hot. A Sharp frost last night. cloudy this Evening we was repairing fences makeing a pen for washing the Sheep
Fri May 25th clear and hot, John and Anne went to Dresden. I was helping to clear the Organ. the fruit trees are blossesming
Sat Apr May 26th heavey rain most of the day, not doing much to day
Sun May 27th cloudy and thunden Showers
Mon May 28th cloudy, hot part of the day not doing much the ground to wet to work went to Florence this after noon
Tue May 29th clear and pleasant. the ground to wet yet to work, wer was repairing fence part of the day. the apple trees only nicely in bloom
Wed May 30th cloudy after noon rain. Commencec putting up a pice of board fence had to Stop at noon for the rain
Thu May 31st clear and cool. John and James Staggs was working at the fence. I went to Dresden this fore noon for nails

Fri June 1st clear and hot in the midle of the day. James Staggs John & myself working at the board fence by the Side of the lane. a frost last night.
Sat Jun 2ond clear and warm, I was repa repairing fence this fore noon. After noon we ware washing sheep
Sun Jun 3rd cloudy in the after noon, and warm
Mon Jun 4th flying clouds and hot. heavey thunder Shower last night. this fore noon I went over the river to get Mr Skinner to Shear the Sheep. after noon the boys and I took the young cattle over to the other place and made Some fence poasts and brought home
Tue Jun 5th clear fore part of the day and hot havey thunder and rain this Evening. I was panting beans and corn in the garden the fore part of the day. latter part Selling Seed corn. John commenced harrowing the corn ground
Wed Jun 6th flying clouds most of the day. heav heavey rain in the Evening went up to Florence this fore noon. claning a load of wheat for Mill in the after noon John commenced to harrow in the after noon was Stopt by the rain
