Mon Nov 28th clear and cold 8 deg above zero this morning. Sarah was in a few minutes

Tue Nov 29th Smokey cloudy and moderate this fore noon. Cool and windy this evening. Bilton was in this fore noon, after noon Sarah called

Wed Nov 30th Cloudy and cold some snow squalls. Bilton was here and took dinner with me

Thu Dec 1st Cloudy and cool. no body in this day

Fri Dec 2nd Cloudy and cool. Sarah was here cleaning house and bakeing

Sat Dec 3rd Fore noon clear and cool after noon cloudy. A prospect of snow

Sun Dec 4 Clear part of the and cool the Thamesville minister gave us a Sermon this after noon. The roads are dry and dusty. {?} Sisely five years ago to day Father died SUN DEC. 4 1839

Mon Dec 5th Cloudy and cool. I was cleaning out the stove pipe this fore noon.

Tue Dec 6th Clear high wind and dust flying. I had a letter this morning from Catharine. She says all are well. I I was out to og B. Snarys and got my hair cut. He came around this way to Florence and brought me home

Wed Dec 7th Cloudy and cool it looks as though thear was a storm brewing. The little gee calld in this after noon

Thu Dec 8th Light clouds and high wind plenty of dust. I walked over to Brother John. Snary's this afternoon.

Fri Dec 9th Cloudy part of the day a little snow. Sarah was here doing house work

Sat Dec 10th Light clouds and cold, 10 deg. above zero. Alone most of the day.

Sun Dec 11th Cloudy and cold comenced to snow this after noon. Rev. whm. McMullen preachd

Mon Dec 12th Cloudy, snowing day. Dick brought a load of wood. After noon writing to Catharine
