Thu Jan 12th foggy and mild,Walter was here we {crossed out iledgible} were looking over our accounts

Fri Jan 13th clear most of the day and pleasant.Bilton was here most of the fore noon. Sarah and Mary was here most of the day. Walter Mc.{Reary?,Reamy?} brought {iledgible} a Soue for burning coal. Dick was helping him plait it up

Sat Jan 14th cloudy and cold another Zero day. Thomas cragg weas here putting up the {hot?,hob?} our pipe to the coal stove

Sun Jan 15th cloudy and cold.another Zero day. was not at Church

Tue Jan 16th cloudy and cold. I sent away to day for a of couple papers the Toronto weekly seen and the New york weekly Witness

Wed Jan 18th cloudy and Soft rain this evening Walter Mc.Raraey call thi after evening to how the stove was doing. Bilton was here this fore noon as Sarah came over and had dinner with me.

Fr Jan 20th cloudy and Soft. Sarah was here cleaning house Maud calld in Walter brought me Some money

Sat Jan 21st Soft Snow all day. Sarah was fiew minutes in this after noon.

Sun jan 22nd clear and pleasant. Mc Mullen peachd to day

Mon Jan 23rd cloudy and cold another Zero morning, Sarah was ove this morning

Tue Jan 24th cloudy a light drigling Snow all day. about two inches of Snow fell last night. no one in to day

Wed Jan 25th a cloudy Snowing windy {thus-tring} day. This was eleection day the pollering was at bharls Mc.Iitoshes
