Croton February 1905

Wed Feb 22nd a Soft foggy day. Sarah and Sophia Smith and Edward Saird was in this after noon. Martin Craggs Child died last night

Thu Feb 23rd moderate and foggy Some of the negbours are away to the funeral

Fri Feb 24th a Soft foggy day.

Sat Feb 25th another Soft foggy day. Chaley came over and brought me some bread

Sun Feb 26th clear and cold was not at church

Mon Feb 27th clear fore part of the day. cloudy cloudy latter part and moderate Jeremiah Jiffin calld in this Evening

Tues Feb 28th cloudy and moderate. Bhal Bharley brought me a letter out of the Office to nigt from balharine Brock

Wed March 1st Clear and pleasant

Thu Mar 2 clear part of thed day and mild latter part of the day 4 blow zero this morning. I got word that Brother John's had run away and he got hurt.

Croton March 1905

Fri Mar 3rd cloudy and Soft Sarah was here cleaning up and cooking. Bilton was here part of the day. Charley took me over Brother John's this after noon John got Shook p up in his runaway the crows are comming back

Sat Mar 4th cloudy fore moon after noon clear and Soft Sarah came over this Evening

Sun Mar 5th cloudy and cool. Not at Church Sarah came over awhile this Evenning

Mon Mar 6th clear and cool Sarah came over for the dirty close this fore noon

Tue Mar 7th cloudy and mild. a prospect of rain

Wed Mar 8th clear a pleasant winter day. Bilton was in a fiew minutes this fore moon. Flora Snary came in to Show me how to work the Stove

Thu Mar 9th fore moon clear and warm, after cloudy the Snow melting away very fast. Bilton and I went over to See John he is no better. Jeremiah {Jeffers} calld in afiew minutes this after noon
