Croton March 1905
Fri Mar 24th cloudy and Soft a Smart rain last night. Sarah was here part of the day doing house work.
Sat Mar 25th clear and warm a butiful Spring day. Bilton was most of the day. I went down towards the bridge to See how high the water is it is about two foot above the grade got a letter from {?}
Sun Mar 26th cloudy windy and Soft. Sarah calld in a while this after noon
Mon Mar 27th clear most of the day and warm I was triming berry bushes.
Tue Mar 28th clear and warm 15 deg above zero. I finished triming and gathering the berry brush
Wed Mar 29th clear and hot. I cleand out the hen house. Sarah was in
Thu Mar 30th fore noon cloudy after noon clear not as hot as yesterday a light Show-er last night. wind in the North and cool. I was doing a little bush triming

Sat Mar 31st clear and pleasant. Sarah was was here cleaning house and bakeing. after noon I went over to See Brother John he is getting Some better games Lafety calld this Evening for Some Rubarb roots.
Sat April 1st cloudy and cool a fiew flakes of snow. Bilton calld in on his way over to John Law's Sarah brought Some bread
Sun Apr 2nd clear most of the day and cold
Mon Apr 3rd cloudy fore noon windy after noon commenced to rain. I over hald my bit of beef and burnt up Some of my old papers and the brush I cut out the bushes
Tue Apr 4th flyiing clouds high wind from the West and cool. I commeced to dig my garden. Bilton calld this morning
Wed Apr 5th cloudy and cool. I was diging in the garden. Mrs chapple calld for Missionary money
Thu Apr 6th cloudy and cold frost last night Bilton was here this fore noon
