Croton August 1905
Fri Aug 4th rain most of the day. Sarah was here cleaning house and bakeing
Sat Aug 5th clear part of the day. a thunder Shower about noon. Sarah brought me a loaf of bred thus Evening.
Sun Aug 6th clear and warm. Dara and Elva call this after noon
Mon Aug 7th clear and hot 86 deg. James Blart was here repairing the pump. Bilton calld in a fiew minutes
Tue Aug 8th light clouds heat about the Same as yesterday. our Ministers calld on me this after noon. and the free Methodist gave me a visit
Wed Aug 9th clear most of the day and warm. Dow Snary calld on me about a minute to day he is just over from Winepeg. Ariel and her kids calld in this evening from John's
Thu Aug 10th clear part of the day and hot 92 deg in the Shade. it is clouding up this Evening

Mon Aug 14th cloudy and cool high wind from the South East a prospect of a wet night. Bilton calld this fore noon Alford Will was in a fiew minutes
Tue Aug 15th cloudy and cool a heavey rain last night. I went with Dick over to Brother John's who is no better. we met {Cogland} Mead and coming over they have gone down to Dicks
Wed Aug 16th clear most of the day and cool Charley and Cogland Mead calld
Thu Aug 17th clear and cool. East wind. I went over to See brother john he is no better.
Fri Aug 18th clear and pleasant cool this morning. Sarah was here cleaning house and bakeing. Cogland Mead and wife was here for dinne on thear way home.
