Croton December 1905

Thu Dec 21st cloudy and wet commenced to rain last night about midnight and is still raining to ninght Slow and easy.

Fri Sept 22ond cloudy and Soft. Sarah was here doing house work and bakeing

Sat Dec 23rd cloudy and cold. a little Snow fell last night a prospect of more to night Ella brought me a Christmas cake

Sun Dec 24th clear part of the day and cold Rev Mr. Sawyer preched to day.

Mon Dec 25th clear part of the day. this being Christmas day I had it all to myself no one in I was not out Sede the gate

Tue Dec 26th clear and pleasant. I had a little Sport Seeing boys after a red Squirell

Wed Dec 27th clear and plesant. I away for the Farmer's Advocte

Thu Dec 28th fore part of the day clear and pleasant latter part cloudy a prospect of a Storm. Sarah was here doing house work. Mrs Long calld in and had prayer with us

Fri Dec 29th rain last night and part of the fore noon Snow this after noon the Storm coming from the South west. Bilton was part of the fore noon. I sent away for the New York witness for him and me

Sat Dec 30th cloudy and cold. thear was rain and Snow last night with high wind that piled the Snow in the fence corners

Sun Dec 31st cloudy and cool pleasant for the season

Mon Jan 1st clear a pleasant winter day

Tue Jan 2ond cloudy and moderat. Sarah calld this fore noon. Mr Newcomb was in part of the after noon he brought me a volume of Wesleys Sermons

Wed Jan 3rd cloudy and latter part of the day wet

Thu Jan 4th Snow in the fore noon. after noon high wind and blustring. Bilton here part of the fore noon he told me of Albart Sogan's death I was most of the day cleaning out the coal stove and getting a fire started
