Croton February March 1906

Sat Feb Mar 3rd cloudy and Soft Sarah was here cleaning house. Bilton was in a fiew minutes this fore noon

Sun Mar 4th Snow all day Mr Sawyer carried the meeting to day he gave us the Lords Super

Mon Mar 5th clear and warm the Snow that fell yesterday is prety much gone. Mr Pelve Peter calld in this fore noon. two boys calld for a trap wich I lent them with out asking their names

Tue Mar 6th cloudy and cold but little thawing to day. no body in to day

Wed Mar 7th cloudy and mild. Bilton was in a while this after noon he had been up to Florence he was telling me James Stag and James Wood was dead and buried to day. the people are droping of very last most all are old people

Thu Mar 8th a cloudy foggy Soft day

Fri Mar 9th cloudy Spitting Snow most of the day Bilton and Sarah was here most of the day

Sat Mar 10th clear part of the day much of Snow. last night Dick calld Charley brought a loaf of bread

Mon Mar 12th clear part of the day. the lumber men were drawing logs on tawvois to day over the Mill

Tue Mar 13th cloudy and cool. a little Snow last night a fiew logs drawn to day

Wed Mar 14th cloudy and cool

Thu Mar 15th cloudy and wind from the North East and cool. not much teaming to day

Fri Mar 16th cloudy and Snow most of the day Sarah was here cleaning the house and bakeing

Sat Mar 17th clear in the morning cloudy about 10 6C Snow squalls in the Evening. William McIntosh brought me a loaf of bread this Evening. the thermometer was within six deg above Zero this morning. not much thawing to day

Sun Mar 18th a light Snow part of the day the road getting Sloppy. I saw a robin this morning

Mon Mar 19th a Snowing day the most Snow on the ground for any time this winter
