Croton April 1906

Fri Apr 20th clear part of the day Walter sowed the bit of my garden with barley

Sat 21 Cloudy and cool, I planted a fiew barely and potatoes. it Sprinkled rain

Sun Apr 22ond a white frost this morning wen I got up. commenced to rain rained most of the fore noon it is spitting Snow this evening

Mon Apr 23rd cloudy fore part of the day. clear latter part. North Wind and cold

Tue Apr 24th clear most of the day and not So cold as yeter day. Bilton and Thomas Tiffin was here part of the fore noon

Wed Apr 25th clear and warm. Henry Johnston has two teams putting in grain to day

Thu Apr 26th cloudy most of the day. I finished diging the garden for this year

Fri Apr 27th clear and warm in the middle of the day Sarah was here in the fore noon

Sat Apr 28th clear most of the day, there was a light frost this morning

Sun Apr 29th clear most of the day and warm I wernt to here M Sawyer Preach

Croton May 1906

Mon Apr 30th cloud y in the fore noon after noon clear part of the time. I was cuting wh weeds in the garden part of the after noon

Tue May 1st cloudy and cool wind from the East I put a fiew parsnip Seeds in the ground Sam brought over the Screen door

Wed May 2ond clear part of the day and. there was a light thunder Shower this after noon Sang the free Methodist preacher calld and we had prayer while he was here

Thu May 3rd cloudy and cool. Bilton was here most of the fore noon. I was in the house

Fri May 4th c. light clouds wind from the South West and hot 76 deg. Sarah was here doing her work. James Leferties boys brought me a couple of big mullets

Sat May 5th cloudy and cool

Sun May 6th cloudy and cool

Mon May 7 cloudy and cool a frost last night a Sprinkle of hail and Snow to day Sarah was here most of the day cleaning the house. I gave Seth crowell two dollars
