Croton Aug 1906

Mon Aug 6th cloudy fore part of the day there was a thunder Shower last night a warm day. Bilton was here a while this morning. Walter was fixing up the Shop for his grain

Tue Aug 7th cloudy and some light Showers a cooler day then yesterday

Wed Aug 8th cloudy fore part of the day. latter part clear. I dug up a fiew of my red rasberry bushes and cut a fiew weeds no body in to day

Thu Aug 9th cloudy and hot it Sprinkled rain here two or three times. while I am writing they are having a thunder Shower North West of us

Fri Aug 10th light clouds and hot I was watching William Huston draw Oats

Sat Aug 11th clear and hot. I was down to the blackSmiths a while this after noon Bilton was here this fore noon

Sun Aug 12th clear and cool no body in to day. I heard Sarah was hurt

Croton August 1906

Mon Aug 13th clear and quite cool in the morning. I went to James Clarks this morning to get a pair of Spectickles but could find none better than mine

Tue Aug 14th clear and cool in the morning hot in the middle of the day 84 deg

Wed Aug 15th clear most of the day and two deg hotter than yesterday

Thu Aug 16th clear and heat the Same as yesterday. Bilton was here most of they fore noon. Aunt Victoria was here this after noon a while

Fri Aug 17th cloudy most of the day. Ella Snary was here doing Sarah McIntoshes work as Sarah got hurt a week ago last night

Sat Aug 18th cloudy fore part of the day a Shower last night another to day abot 10 O C this fore noon. Dick and his baby was about 11 OC

Sun Aug 19th cloudy and hot thretend rain but none came. I went to Church to Dowen preach
