Croton September 1906

Sat Sept 1st clear and cool I went over to Charleys and had my dinner. William Brock brought me a loaf of bread

Sun Sept 2ond cloudy thretend rain but none came I got a ride out Toms to See Rose and Tom Rose has a high fever Tom is doing as well as can be exected

Mon Sept 3 light fall clouds. there was rain last night

Tue Sept 4th clear most of the day. I waked out to Walters where they were thrashing

Wed Sept 5th clear and cool. Miss Huston calld let me Know how the tiphoid folks were at Toms. Sarah was in a fiew min

Thu Sept 6th clear cool this morning the themiter at 45 deg at 2 PM it was 85 dg Will McIntosh was here and Sarah was here this after noon

Fri Sept 7th clear and hot 90 deg at 2 PM Sarah was here most of the fore noon

Sat Sept 8th clear most of the day and heat not quite So high as yester day

Sun Sept 9th clear and hot 90 deg. Sarah was in this morning She told me of Samual McDonalds death he was berid to day. She told me of being at Thomas Boltons the nurs Said they wee doing as well as could be expected

Mon Sept 10th clear and hot 90 deg Bilton was here a fiew minutes in the fore noon

Tue Sept 11th clear and hot another 90 deg day not much Signs of rain althow it is much kneeded

Wed Sept 12th clear another 90 deg day Sarah was in from Toms had been thair the last two days Says they are bad with the feever. I was down the blackSmiths Shop this after noon

Thu Sept 13th cloudy fore part of the day a little sprinkle of rain about 11 AM 84 deg heat

Fri Sept 14th faul clouds and cool. Sarah was hear cleaning house

Sat Sept 15th clear and cool. Bilton was here this after noon
