Croton January 1907
Wed Jan 23rd clear and cold 6 deg below Zero by my themomiter 14 by Samuel Peters Sarah was in a fiew minutes
Thu Jan 24th cloudy and cold, not as cold as yesterday. it has bee Snowing all day lightley. nobody came in to day
Fri Jan 25th cloudy and not so cold Sarah came in a fiew minutes this fore noon
Sat Jan 26th clear and cold. Sarah was here cleaning house and bakeing.
Sun Jan 27th forenoon cloudy after noon clear and pleasant
Mon Jan 28th cloudy a dull day. Micheltree calld here this morning and had prayer
Tue Jan 29th a light drizling Snow all day. no body in to day.
Wed Jan 30th clear a fine wintrs day. Six deg above Zero this morning. Bilton was in this morning. Sarah came for the dirty clothes
Thu Jan 31st cloudy and moderate the Skye looks as if we I was going to have a Storm Sarah came in a fiew minutes

Croton Febuary 1907
Fri Feb 1st cloudy and Soft looks like a Storm but none comes. Sarah was here in the fore noon Seth Crowell core this Evening for the Preachers money. I gave him two Dollars
Sat Feb 2sec cloudy and Soft the Sleighing about gone nobody in to day
Sun Feb 3rd clear and cold Sarah was in a fiew minutes. She said Joseph Crowders Mother is dead is to be buried to morrow
Mon Feb 4th clear part of the day and cold. Sarah was attending Mary Crowder while Joseph went to his Mothers funeral. Walter Ella and Elva Paul Came in this Evening and Staid until about eleven Oclock
Tue Feb 5th cloudy most of the day. when I got up the fires were out. I had a time cleaning out the coal stove and fireing up
Wed Feb 6th clear and cool. Sarah was in for the dirty clothes. Charley brought a loaf of bread
Thu Feb 7th clear and cool. Bilton come in
Fri Feb 8th fore noon clear after noon cloudy and little moderate Sarah was cleaning the house
