30th a very Fine Day went to Mill with Wheat and corn Tapt some Taking Barrels to the River 3 of the cows came in Jo Vipond made 10 Gallons yesterday George went off

31st very very Fine Day for sure March went out Like a Lamb Tapping Drew 3 Loads of Wood to the house Robinscame Blackbirds Pewits came Sloppy on the ice

1st of April All Fools Day Gordon and Randolph here Fine Day

2nd Fine Boiling in the Bush Gordon crofsed took Hammer and Broad axe Getting Rats Rained to night

3rd Foggy Rain Killing 2 calves for Carlow and Sport getting Rats in the Boat House

4th Boiled what they had in the Bush about 8 Gallons this is the First Lot

5th a very Fine day Running well Digging a place for a pan Stanley putting out Manure Eggs plenty a Boil on Stanleys Wrist

6th very Fine some Shooting Drew the Bun up to the Wild oats ice Good Running got 50 pails some Wild Geese Whistlers

8th Fine Froze Last night Fernandez crossed for the Mail got 30 pails not running Well Palm Sunday

9th On this Day of the Month I was Married 1862 snowed a Little to Day got 2 Ducks yesterday ice not opening very Fast Stanley a Boil on his arm

10th Fine Sawing Stove Wood

11th a very very Fine Day Froze some Last night ice opening in a Strip a Lot of Holes hot sun Sap must run if there is any in the Trees Shot 2 Ducks Gathered some

12th Ice Jamming opening Slow I went to the Lower Point in the Bush Heifer calved to Day

13th Good Friday Boiling 8 Gallons some Rain some snow Shot 8 Ducks Randolph came Fernandez to P.O for the Mial East and West Wind

14th Windy Shooting 4 Duck 2 Pigeons and a Muskrat Lots of Rubbish going Down cold Rain Lots of ice going Down caught stcick at small Island south side
