James Cameron Island

21st of July 1900 went to the Upper Point fine Windy boarding on the inside of the house Leander to Jo Douquett's 1 Tub of butter and 20 Doz of Eggs Fernandez crofsed took pork received a letter from John Cameron from St Agate Terabone

22nd fine day Leander to church a preaching to night at Hamilton's Island by the Reverend Mr Mathieson Fernandez crossed coming back found a chair on the water St Magdalen day

23rd an awful hot day Stanley Livinia and Minnie went to Dundee bought snaithe sythe and rake 2 butter tubs mowing in the upper field Fernandez to Summerstown mowed some in the Grove Richard for butter a German girl here for a dish for the gardeners to make coffee gave Ionia 25 cents a granddaughter of Mr Webster's here got 2 lb of butter not very well

24th a very fine day made coils in the upper field Moses Lemay getting married today to Mifs Dischambeau and they have a very fine warm day putting in hay for the first cutting weeds for the pigs mowing in the upper field and in the Grove put in 5 loads for the first rain all night thunder lightning this evening Fernandez crofsed

25th raining St James day Gordon here for his clothes trowling boys working at the house

26th St Anns day Ionia and I to Lewis's got the inch augur went fishing got 33 fish perch Pike and rock bass a very hot day East Wind and North Wind turning hay in the upper field and in the Grove made about 40 coils Fernandez went for the papers
