1st of November 1900 All Saints Day The Harvest Month of Death very Fine Day Stanley Ploughing near East of the Ash Tree George came about 12 o Clock Brought a Lot of Good Bags for the Thrashing Working at the Mill Fernandez came and Went off Eddy Renshaw here Feeding Ground Cornmeal to the Pigs Jo Lemay took home the Bag and Pail Bought 10 lb of Butter 2 Dollars Lots of Flies Grasshoppers some Mosquitoes Ducks not Plenty here not very well with Dizzinefs in my Head Fernandez went to Hic Meeting in Williamstown Windy to night
2nd All Soul's Day Fine W Wind Windy Working at the Thrashing Machine all Day got a Rat thats 24 now not very Wet to Day got a Letter From Adelaide got a lb of Tea Did not get Back her Change
3rd very Fine Day Went around the island got a Rat in the Bay thats 25 Commenced to Thrash got 8 Rats under the Wheat Stack Thrashed 15 Bushels to Day Pretty Bad with this Dizzinefs it took me Bad to Day an Indian here Wanting a Load of Wood William Mussel his name did not Get it Fernandez to Summerstown one of my Papers did not come
4th Sunday Fine some Windy George went Home Randolph came got a Rat in the Bay thats 26 I got
5th Guy Fawk's Day Gunpowder Plot Rained Ed Renshaw and Leander went to Point-Muya or Rainy Point for Ducks a Fine Set of Rainbows this Evening Fernandez of a Tramp Fixed my Pants Took a Bad Turn to night
6th Lily Annie Cameron Creamer's Birth Day 1899 This is the Yankees Election Day Stanley Ploughing at the Ash Tree Leander and Eddy came to night had over 40 Ducks

7th of November 1900 Helen's Birth Day 1842 Glengarry Election Rained some was ready to go But seen very poor hopes of Putting me acrofs so I had to stop at Home I was very sorry on Charles Craig's account as he told our Boys he would give me a Ride out and I was ready since 5 o clock to go The Grist got in By Boodling in Glengarry Mr Pringle got in in Cornwall Eddy shoting in the Blind
8th Some Rain Stanley Ploughing Eddy in the Blind went to the Pitt Point Went to the Upper Point Heard McKinley got Elected with a Big Majority Randolph and Leander went to Point-Mua for Ducks Eddy Down to change Boats
9th Noth East Wind Prince of Wales Birth Day high Wind snowing First Snow cool Randolph and Leander came Back about 3 o clock Rained Last night got 6 Ducks all wet Hamilton went up this Morning
10th North Windy Cool snow on the Mountains Drew Big Flat Stone for Steps from the Basswood Tree on the south side Randolph and Leander crofsed up to Jos Fernandez crofsed for the Mail Lady Smith Kind of Late coming
11th Fine Leander and Randolph here Early in the Morning John H here Gave me a Small ------ 2 Loons shot to Day gave John H his Socks and Mits
12th Martinmass Day Windy Raining Willie Rose here got 5 lb of Butter 1 Dollar Stanley Working at the outside cellar steps Drew over the Big Flat Stone at the East End of the Kitchen Wild Geese
