28th of November 1900 E Wind cold ice Froze in the Kitchen to night Took over the 2 young Pigs no Boats to Day 1 Boat went up Randolph on the Little Island and here Baking to Day

29th Fine Kind of Foggy musky a Great Lot of Boats went up and Down to Day and a Lot coming up to night churning to Day took over the clock Fixing an outside Door this is St Andrews Day The Festival of the Scotch Fine some Musky Foggy Boys away hunting Eddy Renshaw here one or 2 Boats went Down to Day Stanley Drawing the Stack in the upper Field 2 Loads to Day

1st of December cut some stove Wood Fine E Wind Eddy here Boats a Going a Boat went Down all Lighted up after Dark The Pigeon

2nd First Sunday in Advent Fine Mr Humes and Moses Lemay here John H and Dan Spink Randolph all here

3rd Fine Leander came from Jo Douquetts Killed the White hog to Day Eddy with Himes E Wind Randolph Grinding his axes

4th E Wind Leander Went to Haggartys For Stove Pipes 18 To 1 Bag of Salt 1 lb of Tea Broom 25 Turned Stormy high East Wind Killed the Black Pig cutting the house for the Pipes Broke the coal oil Jar spilt it near all very Windy to night snowed some heard the Mill in Cornwall Burnt Monday kille a Big Tame Duck

5th East Wind Stormy cold took over the Single Stove Killed a Rat yesterday at the Fixing up the Stove Stormy no Boats to Day nor yesterday Lights Last night up 1 Boat up

6th Fine St Nicholas Day Fernandez to Cornwall Leander to Kill Renshaws pigs Lots of Boats went up to Day Lewis and Peter Bosell here yesterday Bought Stanly Boots Sissys Boots and Heels Wrote a Letter did not send it off yet

7th of Dec 1900 Fine snow Leander went for Shells Working at the Pantry Stanley Looking after the Cattle not very well

8th Freezing some Stanley Drawing Hay alone Leander after Ducks at the Pantry Randolph here turning Windy and cool on the 6th Hamiltons Light Quit and McLauchlin on the 7th Hills Quit 2 or 3 Days Before them

9th north Wind very cold Freezing hard to night in the House and outside Flowers Froze

10th Leanders Birth Day 1872 Boarding some at the north side west of the Front Door inside stuffed a Lot of newspapers in it Drew some Marsh Hay From the upper Field Drew Straw over to the cellar to shut it up Made a Lot of ice in the Back Bay Fixing the outside cellar Door Banking it going to be Frosty to night

11th Kind of the Fine East Wind Turned Warmer Took over the Bags Sharpened the crofscut Saw a Real Frosty night the Salmon River crofsing with Horses He went to the P.O. But did not Bring my Letteer got the Kansas Journal

12th Fine Smoky Frosty Seen a Mink Track on the shore in the Bay Went to the Little Island north side for Ducks Stanley sawing chopping and splitting stove-wood at the catle too The Pump Broke Blowing snowing Freezing night

13th Snowing till 12 o clock Moderated some Fixing on Boards at the Foot of the stairs churning put the Cat in the cellar Last night Fixing the Pump to night Turned very cold very Frosty West Wind

14th Frosty very cold Boarding the north side Finished it Putting in the Pump Frosty to night not very well

15th Calm Frosty Drew some Wood Leander and Stanley on the Little Island North Drawing the Last of the stack in upper Feild
