Teu 13. I made patty pan cakes. in the afternoon it started to rain Mary Riexinger brought the mail it was raining hard when she went home. Frank walked down Bella went up to Pels & stayed all night Will & Arthur in when she as here. Hattie & Bella were over to Riexinger last evening Paul came home wet through. old {Rose?} running yesterday & today

Wed. 14 I made a custard pie for supper. Bella was here just as I ought to go to the chores so Paul did them. I separated the milk in the fornoon rose is nearly dry. Maud brought the mail

Thur 15 Youg Mid had 2 kitts yesterday. Hattie & Arthur went to Chippewa took a doz. eggs got 2 lbs biscuits. Will sold the heiffer calf

Friday 16 Hewson came up & pruned Wills black currants nice day Hattie & the other girls went to Clifton to get their pictures taken. Will sowing grass seed on our place. Topsy jumped on my foot. I had an awful looking foot. I baked bread & a pie & made pickles. raining at night. Hattie came over & stayed all night. Lilly was over {twice?} Paul had to get his own supper & get his dinner up.

Sat. 17 Hattie got the breakfast, made the beds & swept watered the horse & helped Gordon to water the calves. I cleaned the floor blacked the stove made four pumkin pies & separated the milk Hattie came & stayed all night. Arthur & Bella over in the evening. Mrs Riexinger brought the mail.

Sun 18. thundered befor we got up. Hattie helped with the work befor she went home. Arthur took her to the brick church Bella over in the afternoon. Just as we were going to sit down to supper Mrs Riexinger & Mary & Arthur came in & stayed for a long time.

Mon 19. looks like rain in the fornoon but the sun was shining but the rain did not come untill late in the afternoon. I churned & made cakes Hattie made the bed & swept befor she went Will Dell got his oats & potatoes & currant bush. Gordon went to see where the turkey was she was at Mrs Martin Dells in the afternoon. it rained Marguerite came back got caught in the rain by not comeing in the morning. Hattie came over & stayed all night.

Teu 20. They both went to school. I mended Pauls socks while Bella was here I could do nothing else they had to sweep the school house

Wed 21. Marguerite walked to Chippewa took 2 doz eggs @ 18. got 72 lb tea 13 box matches 5, bread 10 gum 5 stick candy 1 Paul paid for the gum rained in the afternoon & poured at noon & high south wind Paul brought the turkey home

Thur 22. it was today instead of yesterday Marguerite went to Chippewa. Kate Riexinger came down after her mail I made two elderberry pies & patty pan cakes wind west & colder

Friday 23, Will & Lilly went to Chippewa got 25 ct of sugar I gave the money. 25 lb bran. real cold at night, froze thick icy. Marjorie came home awaway nearly two weeks. two weeks from Sunday. brought 25 cts of veal we had it for supper with potpie I baked 5 loaves & a dish of buns. & I made white cookies. Arthur brought over the rest of the bushel of potatoes he separated the milk while he was in

Sat 24. I made two elderberry pies & patty pan cake & blacked the stove. Marjorie swept & cleaned the floors & she & the youngsters did the chores. I cut out my skirt & made a pillow case Hattie went to the Falls Arthur took her to Chippewa. cold wind

Sun 25 church Sunday. The minister to the other house for dinner sprinkled rain first as church was out sun came out nice in the afternoon but high wind. roads rough & dry Arthur went to the brick with the minister the wind was in every direction but east north at night Montague youngsters here for Marguerite & Gordon to go to the graveyard.

Mon 26. nice sunshine all day but cold wind Marjorie went to Riexingers & paid $3.00 for cloves seed & spoke for another peck of beans & Kate brought them in the afternoon to the bush & Marjorie went up & got them. Bella went down to the Falls I am sewing on my pillowslips & cut out my grey skirt
