25th A Fortunate Day Cutting Weeds out of the Potatoes Thunder Very Little Rain here and very much wanted Found 2 oak staves no Fish on the Line

26th Picking Strawberries Gordon Livinia & I

27th 7 sleepers Pat to Charlies cleaning the Weeds of the Potatoes Put the Plough through the Potatoes Pat & Charlie here Left me a Pit Bottle swimming Lashey here going to set his Line tomorrow

29th Went to Williamstown in the Raft Charlie Brought 12 lb of Wool a cake of {illegible} Ellen her little Girl sick with the Whooping Cough Cattanade child Buried to Day a very warm day at George McDonalds a Treat 20 cents piling the Wood {illegible} 1/2 pint from Pat to take home Charlies Bottle {illegible} me a Newspaper stopt all night in the old House Buckwheat up 3 Days ago took Back the cloth & Wool

30th Last Day of June Fishing Rafts Going in abundance took {illegible} Load of Wood hoeing the few hills of Corn
