19th I went to Dundee Bought of Buchanan 1 1/2 of Potatoes at 2/6 per Bushel 3/9 Had 83 lbs of Oats at 40 cents for 34 lbs Bought 1/14 of soap at {illegible} a lb Bought Pudding Dish 30 cents I owe him 16 cents on this Returned Bakers Bag stopt at Mrs Morris's with the shower stopt at Alex Island till the storm was over Charlie Brought some plants 2 Men here for Brushs Timber did not get any
20th Tom Came Fixing Boots & Marys Moccasins Put the stery in the old House
21st Longest Day in the year got 9 Perch set the Line 18 hooks on Lashey came stopt all night got 2 EEls From him
22nd Our Dans Birth Day hoeing some Fixing the Gate got a Pickerel & 4 Perch Mosquitoes Bad
23rd Charlie here Left his shirt to make Baited the Line with chub Charlie Brought Lashey here at night
24th Antwine Russel Fishing eels Tom started turned Back with the Wind
25th a Fortunate Day Sunday got 2 EEls got 1 Large Pike Thunder & Lighting at night Raining some Strawberries now on the Lower Point
26th Monday Ploughing the Potatoes & corn Raining very dirty the Potatoes

28th Charlie came Pat & Thomas Munroe came Lent a Bag & Bottle to Put at the Potatoes and at the Weeding & Watering the Garden heard of those that was Killed on the RailRoad Docherty Cunningham Curry & Carebou John Raising his {illegible} Working on the Roads now A Summers informed on selling Licquor
