We walked home again tonight and arrived home tired but happy at 11 p.m. 11 Wednesday. Colder. Stormy. Walter & Cornelius brought some things home from Emerson's and were there for dinner. Grandpa came down here from Lincoln's and were here for the night. 12 Thursday. Snowing & storming. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira today Grandpa Krauter went down with him and went home from there. Noah Miller and Lincoln Weaver visited Walter tonight. 13 Friday. Snowing & storming Walter butchered a cow and a big pig at Koepke's today. Cornelius went to Hamilton yesterday and returned tonight.
