May, 1925. 1 Friday Miserable cold wet day. Shower & snowflurries We butchered a pig today for Mr. Walde. Mr. Walde and Lena were here for dinner. Aubrey was plowing Our company after tea - Joe Hall, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Miller, Russel and Lloyd Farncombe. 2 Saturday. Looks like winter this morning. The ground is covered with snow. Showers & snowflurries Cleared up this afternoon. Walter butchered a pig here for Alf.Shautz and took it to Elmira. Eva Snider and Alf Shautz were here for dinner Aubrey left after dinner for Drayton 3 Sunday. Fair. We went to church and Sunday school this p.m. and up to Lincoln Weaver's for tea. Walter & Lincoln went to League.
