Junr, 1925. 6 Saturday. Very hot. Walter Ella & Vernon also Grandpa Krauter's and Emerson's motored to Wartburg and atended the funeral of Ella's aunt Mrs. Pauline Dill. We met many friends and acquaintences there 7 Sunday. Very sultry. Walter went to church this morning. Walter, Ella & Vernon went to Harvey Schmidts for tea and the evening Garbutt Jackson called this p.m. 8 Mondau. Sultry & hot. Lincoln Weaver went to Elmira with Walter and Edua & Doris spent the day with Ella. 9 Tuesday. Fine day. Wesley Miller and Esther Witzel were married today. Aubrey harrowed the corn and they sowed the turnips today. Ella did her ironing and hoed in the garden. Our callers tonight - Mr. & Mrs. Earl Miller, Noah Miller, and Alf Fromhold.
