July, 1925. 8 Wednesday. Fine day. The men finished the turnips and hoed the mangels for the second time. Ella & Ella Miller were picking strawberries in Reists bush this p.m. 9 Thursday. Lovely day. Ella went to Elmira with Walter and they had their dinner at Jacob Kiug's. They visited Mrs. Elmo King tonight. 10 Friday. Fine day. The men were hoering corn. 11 Saturday. Fair & quite hot. Aubrey took the day off and took in the Orange Celebration at Kitchener walter cultivated the corn. Aubrey & some of his friends called in tonight. 12 Sunday. Lovely, breezy day. We went to Woolwich church & S.S this afternoon. Mr. & Mrs. Joe Metz and family of Waterloo and Violet Tutte of Hamilton called in here. Our cousin Salome (Ms. Art. Kluick) died at Elmira this afternoon. We visited Lincoln Weaver's after supper.
