August, 1925 5 Wednesday. Very warm. The men brought in the wheat 6 loads this afternoon. 6 Thursday. Sultry. Heavy thunderstorms and rain this p.m. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira this morning and started cutting in the field beside the house. Willard Weaver was here this p.m. and stayed for tea. Grandpa Krauter's and Emerson's called here tonight and we all went up to Lincoln Weaver's 7 Friday. Dreary & sultry The men filled the woodshed with wood today. Mrs. Davison of Toronto motored here today and is staying for the night. 8. Saturday. Cloudy & drizzly Mrs. Davison left for home this a.m. The men tried to cut but the grain was too wet. We went to Creekbank after tea
